Who we are

Recurrence is a product of RisingWave Labs (“RisingWave Labs,” “we,” “us”), 95 3rd St, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103. This policy explains what information we collect through userecurrence.ai (the “Site”), including early-access requests, and how we use it.

Use of the Recurrence service itself, once you have access, is covered by the agreement you sign with us and any privacy terms in it.

Information you give us

When you request early access, we collect:

• Your work email address (required).
• Your name and company, if you choose to provide them.
• Anything you tell us about what you want to build.

Please don't include sensitive personal information or confidential data in the form.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use these logs to keep the Site secure and running.

We use PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand how the Site is used: which pages people visit, how long they stay, how far they scroll, what they click and which site referred them. We also send PostHog a record of each page request (IP address, browser type and the page requested), so we can see how search engines and AI crawlers read the Site. PostHog processes this data for us in the United States.

Our analytics set no cookies and store nothing on your device. The Site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use information

• To review and respond to your early-access request.
• To contact you about Recurrence, including onboarding and product updates. You can opt out at any time.
• To understand which use cases people are interested in, so we can improve the product.
• To protect the Site against abuse and keep it secure.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Site and handle your request:

• With service providers that host the Site, provide analytics and deliver form submissions to our team, under obligations to protect the information and use it only for us.
• Within RisingWave Labs, with the people who manage early access.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of RisingWave Labs, our users or others.
• As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

How long we keep information

We keep early-access information for as long as we need it to manage your request and our relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email contact@risingwave-labs.com. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and may process your information there or wherever our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.

Children

The Site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. See also our Terms of Service.
